This electric heat kit contains a furnace heating coil that will provide supplemental warmed air for your system. This additional heat is distributed with your Trane RunTru Air Handler, making your home more comfortable for your family on cold nights.
This 15 kW Electric Heat Kit for Trane RunTru Air Handler is powered directly to the air handler using the heater's power supply. An additional circuit is not required for this accessory.
This particular electric heat kit model has a 15 kW capacity and at 240 volts can produce up to 49,200 BTU. Adding this accessory to your Trane RunTru air handler can improve your system's heating performance and keep you even warmer on cool nights.
Along with an included circuit breaker, this electric heat kit has a single polarized plug to connect the control and power wiring to both the heater component and the air handler.
