The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 18k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split can cool or heat two spaces efficiently with easy installation that needs no special tools or training. The 18,000 BTU capacity condenser powers the two 9,000 BTU air handlers that can each heat or cool an area from 375-450 square feet.
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 18k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split features easy installation without any prior experience or special tools. This is easy to accomplish without the help of an HVAC technician thanks to the Quick Connect line sets that are pre charged with R-410A refrigerant, a much more eco-friendly option. The DIYPRO cable adds to the easy installation process by providing durability and electrical protection without the need for an electrical conduit.
Not only can the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 18k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split heat, cool, and dehumidify, but it can be operated with convenient options such as with your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, the Smart HVAC app on your Apple or Android device, or the included remote. Keep an eye on the temperature on the easy to read display as well as be informed of any alerts or issues with the system.
Each of the air handlers provides heated or cooled air to create the most comfortable environment in your space. Auto mode allows you to set a desired temperature and the MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split will adjust accordingly to keep your room at that temperature. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter.
With Sleep mode, the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 18k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split runs during an 8 hour window adjusting the temperature by 2 degrees F per hour for 2 hours and will run at that new, moderate temperature for the remaining 6 hours. If a power outage were to occur, the MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split will automatically restart and begin working to return the temperature of the room to the one previously set.
