With the two-stage enhanced enthalpy technology, the 2 to 3 Ton MrCool Universal Central Heat Pump utilizes a DC Inverter; giving it a strong heating capacity that continues to operate at low ambient temperatures. Expect stable operation and heating performance with ambient temperatures as low as -22°F! This model has a covered capacity range from 24,000 to 36,000 BTUs, has an 80 percent output at -4°F, and virtually eliminates the need for a gas furnace or an expensive auxiliary electric heat strip.
This unit relies on 24V non-communication control technology between the condenser and evaporator that matches with third-party 24V air handlers and thermostats. The 2 to 3 Ton MrCool Universal Central Heat Pump uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A, which is chlorine-free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer, keeping your system greener and more environmentally friendly. To lower the pressure and limit the amount of R-410A that passes through the evaporator coil, the 2 to 3 Ton MrCool Universal Central Heat Pump can be used with either an electronic expansion valve (EEV) or a thermal expansion valve (TXV) on the coil, giving you options for how to keep your home or business comfortable and your HVAC system running smoothly and efficiently.
For a simpler and fast install, you can pair this condenser with a MrCool Universal Central Air Handler and use the optional Quick Connect® Line Set. This method is both convenient and saves significant time.
