The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 27k BTU 3 Zone Ductless Mini Split is easy to install and can heat or cool three areas at one time. The outdoor unit with a heating capacity of up to 27,000 BTU has a high efficiency SEER rating of 22. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter. The 12,000 BTU air handler can heat or cool between 500-600 square feet, while the two 9,000 BTU handlers can heat up to 375-450 square feet each.
The four components of the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 27k BTU 3 Zone Ductless Mini Split, the condenser and three air handlers, are all easily installed by any homeowner. This is possible thanks to the Quick Connect line set that comes pre charged with refrigerant so there's no need for a vacuum or other labor. The DIYPRO cable also makes installation easy by providing excellent mechanical protection without the use of an electrical conduit. None of the installation process requires any special training or tools, nor the cost of hiring an HVAC professional.
