Heating or cooling two spaces at once is easy with the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split. The heat pump uses reverse air conditioning to draw in air from outside in order to heat the area. With a capacity of 36,000 BTU and a SEER of 21.5, both 18,000 BTU air handlers will heat or cool an area between 750-900 square feet.
No special tools or training is needed to self-install the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split. The ease is thanks to the Quick Connect line set that comes pre charged with an eco-friendly refrigerant. In addition, the new DIYPRO cable also helps with the installation process by providing mechanical protection without the need for an electrical conduit.
Controlling the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split is just as simple as its installation. The included USB device can be connected to the front panel of each air handler in order to have wireless control. You can control the unit with the included remote, the previously mentioned app, or your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
The system has many modes so you can customize your comfort level. In auto mode, you just set your desired temperature and the unit will work to consistently maintain that temperature in your space. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter.
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split has many useful features for you to customize your heating or cooling experience. If you use the timer function, the unit will only run for a designated period of time so you aren't using energy when it isn't needed or wanted. Maintenance of the system is easy as well. In order to clean both the outdoor and indoor unit, just wipe the equipment down with a dry or damp cloth, without needing any special cleaning products. The filters are reusable and can be easily washed when needed with basic tap water.
