The two 9,000 BTU air handlers can each heat or cool a space between 375-450 square feet, while the 24,000 BTU unit will heat or cool an area between 1,000-1,200 square feet.
You won't need any special training, tools, or assistance to install the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 3 Zone Ductless Mini Split. The Quick Connect line set comes pre-charged with refrigerant R-410A that is more environmentally friendly than previous commonly used refrigerants. In addition, the new DIYPRO cable aids in the installation ease by eliminating the need for an electrical conduit while providing superior mechanical protection
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 3 Zone Ductless Mini Split has a variety of operational modes. The main mode is the auto mode, which lets you set it and forget it. You just select one desired temperature and the unit will adjust as needed to maintain that specific temperature.
With the sleep mode, you set a temperature and over the first two hours, the temperature will either increase when cooling or decrease when heating by 2 degrees each hour then maintain that temperature for the next 6 hours. This allows you to conserve energy and utility costs while you snooze.
In addition to those convenient features, the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 3 Zone Ductless Mini Split has many others. The timer function saves you energy by only heating or cooling your space for the amount of time you set. If a power outage occurs, the system will automatically restart when power is restored and immediately begin cooling or heating your space back to your desired temperature.
Maintenance is just as easy as installing it. Cleaning both the indoor and outdoor units is easily done with a damp or dry cloth. The filters are reusable and only need to be rinsed with tap water then laid out to dry before replacing.
