The outdoor heat pump in the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split has a heating capacity of up to 36,000 BTU and has a high efficiency SEER rating of 21.5. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter. The three 9,000 BTU air handlers can manage the temperature of rooms between 375-450 square feet, while the 12,000 BTU air handler can heat or cool approximately 500-600 square feet.
Made for the amateur installer, the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split is easy to install for any homeowner. There are no special tools, training, or professional HVAC assistance needed. Installation is easy thanks to the Quick Connect line set that comes precharged with R-410A refrigerant. The DIYPRO cable also provides ease as it gives excellent mechanical protection without an electrical conduit.
