The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split, an easy to install heating or cooling system, can heat or cool two areas in your home. Working as a heat pump, the system uses a reverse air conditioning process, pulling in air from outside in order to heat your spaces.
The 18,000 BTU air handler of the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split can heat or cool a space between 750-900 square feet, while the 24,000 BTU handler can cover an area between 1,000-1,200 square feet.
Installing the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split is easy to accomplish without an HVAC professional, special training, or specific tools. This is made easy with the Quick Connect line sets pre-charged with refrigerant R-410A, eliminating the need for a vacuum, and proving to be more eco-friendly than previously used refrigerants. In addition, the new DIYPRO cable provides excellent mechanical protection from the elements, animals, or yard tools without the need for an electrical conduit.
Keep up with how the MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split operates with the easy-to-read LED display. It will show you the temperature of the unit along with any other alerts or troubleshooting codes. You can also monitor the unit with the SmartHVAC controller app. In addition, you can control the system with the same app, along with the included remote, or your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 2 Zone Ductless Mini Split can quickly cool down a space with the manual mode, but if you want to maintain a comfortable temperature in your room, try the auto mode. You simply set the desired temperature and the unit will work to keep that consistent temperature in the space. The innovative DC inverter assists the unit to accomplish this in auto mode.
