The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split is easy to install yourself without any special tools, training, or HVAC assistance. The outdoor heat pump has a heating capacity of 48,000 BTU with a SEER rating of 20.5. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter. Each of the two 9k BTU air handlers are able to heat or cool a space between 375-450 square feet, while the two 12k BTU handlers can cover a space between 500-600 square feet each.
The key to the simple installation of the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 42k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split is the Quick Connect line set thanks to the pre-charged environmentally friendly refrigerant that is already in the line. Another convenient and easily installed feature is the new DIYPRO cable. It provides excellent mechanical protection from animals, yard tools, and weather without the need for an electrical conduit.
