The outdoor heat pump in the system has a heating capacity of up to 48,000 BTU and has a high efficiency SEER rating of 20.5. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter. The three 9,000 BTU air handlers can cover a space around 375-450 square feet, while the 18,000 BTU air handler can heat or cool up to approximately 750-900 square feet.
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 45k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split can be installed easily without professional HVAC assistance, expensive tools, or special training. The key to the installation is the Quick Connect line set, which comes pre-charged with an eco-friendly refrigerant. Another useful feature that eases installation is the new DIYPRO cable, which provides excellent mechanical protection against animals, yard tools, and weather without an electrical conduit.
