What is a site survey?

The first step in getting you on the road to comfort is assessing your current heating and air conditioning set up. This is where a site survey comes in. During your site survey, a licensed HVAC professional will assess your space to determine what equipment best suits your needs. Upon inspection your technician will create an itemized list of equipment and action plan for a successful install. This may include, but is not limited to, necessary permits, plenum and ductwork fittings, condenser pads, or other components essential for proper system performance. This information will be factored into your final equipment and installation quote. Our goal is to make the process smooth, efficient, and hassle-free, so you can enjoy reliable comfort without unexpected surprises.

What is included in a site survey?

  • Equipment Inspection: Technician will conduct an inspection of existing equipment
  • Electrical Inspection: Technician will inspect and determine if electrical connections meet the requirements of proposed equipment.
  • Measurements: Technician will collect measurements of existing equipment and space to help in building an installation action plan.
  • Installation Action Plan: Technician will create and provide an itemized list of replacement equipment, accessories, materials, and labor

What happens after the survey?

After your site survey is complete you can expect a phone call in 1-3 business days from an IWAE representative to review the details of your installation plan and equipment quote. At that time you have the opportunity to purchase your equipment and tailored installation package. Once you are satified with your installation plan your technician will schedule your instllation date.
