This versatile Trane RunTru front return upflow air handler is compatible with air conditioning and heat pump applications and has a 1.5 to 2 ton capacity. The appliance uses orifice flow control and operates with a multi-speed direct permanent split capacitor (PSC) blower to distribute temperature-controlled air in your home.
The flow for this 1.5 to 2 Ton Multi Speed Trane RunTru Wall Mounted Air Handler with 8kW Heat Kit is controlled with an R-410A thermostatic expansion valve (TXV), which is factory installed before the air handler arrives. The suction line for this appliance measures ¾ and the liquid line measure ⅜.
This air handler model has a factory installed 8kW electric resistance single phase heater, which includes a circuit breaker for safety.
