The 12k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Ceiling Cassette Air Handler is not only easy to install and doesn't require ductwork or wall space, but it also features a low profile installation. It fits between 16 inch ceiling joists and is created to work with current and future joist standards. It is able to be recessed between all types of joists on 16 inch center including pre-manufactured joists. This is a great heating and cooling solution for retrofits or new construction. Other ceiling cassettes have strict installation requirements that enforce installation in locations that are less than ideal. The MrCool DIY Ceiling cassette offers much more flexibility in installation.
The 12k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Ceiling Cassette Air Handler is compatible with the MrCool DIY Quick Connect line set. This type of line set is easy to install because it comes precharged with eco-friendly R-410A refrigerant, so no vacuuming is required like with other types of line sets. It can also be used with the convenient No Vac coupler to increase line set length if necessary. Included with the ceiling cassette is a remote that allows you to control it.
Not only is the MrCool Ceiling Cassette visually discrete, but it is audibly discrete as well with its quiet operation. You can utilize the included remote to have ultimate control of the unit to take advantage of its multiple operating modes. With advanced filtration and swing technology, air filter maintenance is easier than ever. The remote can allow you to activate the Elevation function, which raises and lowers the air filter panel. This feature gives you easier access to the air filters, making maintenance a breeze.
