You're able to install the 18k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Ceiling Cassette Air Handler yourself. It doesn't require ductwork or wallspace, is easy to install, and offers a low profile installation. It fits between 16 inch ceiling joists and is designed to work with both current and future joist standards. The cassette can be recessed between all types of joists on 16 inch center including pre-manufactured joists and is perfect for retrofits or new construction. You're able to install the MrCool DIY Ceiling Cassette in a multitude of locations within your space, unlike other ceiling cassettes that have strict installation requirements that dictate installation in less than ideal locations.

The 18k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Ceiling Cassette Air Handler is compatible with the MrCool DIY Quick Connect line set. This type of line set is unique in that it doesn't require any vacuuming. It comes precharged with refrigerant R-410A, which has proven to be a more environmentally friendly refrigerant option. You also have the option to utilize the convenient No Vac coupler if the line sets require extra length. Included with the ceiling cassette is the useful remote, which gives you ultimate control over the unit.

Not only is it easy to install and is visually appealing, but the ceiling cassette is audibly appealing as well. It features a quiet operation that won't disrupt you or your family's regular activities. Utilize the remote to take advantage of the multiple operating modes the ceiling cassette has to offer. The unit's Elevation function can be activated on the remote which will allow the air filter panel to automatically raise and lower from the its position in the ceiling. This utilization of advanced filtration and swing technology makes maintaining the air filter even easier by providing easy access–no ladder required.
