The default cooling capacity of this 2.5 Ton Trane gets your home down to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, but for additional flexibility there is a low ambient kit available for purchase that can help achieve temperatures all the way down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 2.5 Ton 14 SEER2 Trane RunTru Central Air Conditioner Condenser is built to not only be ready to go right out of the box, but also to maintain a consistent performance as the years pass. This Trane AC leaves the factory fully charged to meet the requirements for multiple components including: the smallest rated indoor evaporative coil match, the outdoor condensing unit, and a tested ten foot connecting line. These inclusions save you both time and money when it comes to the installation process. To provide quick and effective cooling, the outdoor coil supplies low airflow resistance and efficient heat transfer. The casing of this Trane Condenser is constructed with heavy gauge, galvanized steel and includes a weather-resistant powder paint finished with a 1000 hours salt spray to protect both the visual appearance as well as the internal components against the elements.
Loaded with features that are designed to keep ease of use at the forefront, the 2.5 Ton 14 SEER2 Trane RunTru Central Air Conditioner Condenser is ready to keep maintenance time and cost to a minimum. The refrigeration system utilizing R-410A refrigerant contains a condenser fan, compressor contactor, and low/high-pressure switches while the internal over temperature and pressure protection minimize the potential for problems in the system. A centrifugal oil pump reduces noise and vibration for a quieter operation to leave less of an impact on your day to day. Even the outdoor coil is surrounded on all four sides by louvered panels to further protect this Trane Condenser from wear and tear.
