This air handler uses orifice flow control and operates with a multi-speed direct permanent split capacitor (PSC) blower to distribute temperature-controlled air efficiently throughout your home. The flow for this Trane RunTru model is controlled with a factory installed R-410A thermostatic expansion valve (TXV). The suction line used in this appliance is ¾ and the liquid line is ⅜. The multi-speed Trane RunTru air handler features a factory installed 8kW electric resistance single phase heater along with a circuit breaker to ensure your family's safety.
The plate fin indoor coil used in this system is all aluminum, and the refrigerant used with this system is R-410A, an alternative to traditional Freon that does less damage to the ozone layer.
