This 9k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler - 3rd Generation 240v has several operating modes to deliver heat and air to your preference. To operate the air handler in manual operation, you can simply flip a switch into emergency operation mode from the front panel. The unit will automatically select cooling, heating, or fan-only depending on the temperature you set and the current room temperature when Auto Operation is engaged.
Save energy and money by limiting usage in an eight hour window when in sleep mode. When using this operating mode, the temperature will increase 2 degrees Fahrenheit when cooling or decrease 2 degrees Fahrenheit when heating every hour for the first two hours. For the remaining six hours, the unit will operate at the more moderate temperature until the sleep mode switches off.
Dehumidify this air handler while keeping your home at your desired temperature by using the drying mode. To accomplish this, the unit intermittently switches the cooling or fan-only option on and off.
Should you encounter a power interruption, the 9k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler - 3rd Generation 240v will stop operating. Once the power supply returns, the air handler will restart automatically with its previous session’s settings. This 9k BTU MrCool DIY Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler - 3rd Generation 240v uses an easily accessible fresh air filter to keep the air you breathe pure and clean. After 240 hours of operation, the unit will display an alert to clean the air filter, to ensure that your home’s air continues to stay fresh and the unit continues to operate at its utmost efficiency. After 2,880 hours, the unit will display an alert that the air filter should be replaced.
