The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split is one of the few multi-zone systems available that you can easily install yourself without expert HVAC help. The outdoor heat pump powering the system has a heating capacity of up to 36,000 BTU and is highly efficient with a 21.5 SEER rating. This is thanks in part to the variable speed DC inverter. The two 9,000 BTU air handlers distribute heated and cooled air effectively in spaces around 375-450 square feet. The two 12,000 BTU air handlers work best in rooms between 500-600 square feet.
The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split can be installed without special tools or training. The Quick Connect line set makes this straightforward installation possible thanks to the pre-charged eco-friendly refrigerant R-410A in the line. The DIYPRO cable works to provide superior mechanical protection from animals, weather, and yard tools without an electrical conduit.

Maintain the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 36k BTU 4 Zone Ductless Mini Split by using the troubleshooting codes that appear on the front display of the air handlers when a potential issue arises and reference them in the user manual. These codes can range from low refrigerant alerts to reminders to clean or replace air filters. To clean both the indoor and outdoor units, simply wipe each appliance with a dry or damp cloth.
