The 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 48k BTU 20.5 SEER 5 Zone Ductless Mini Split is not only easy to install for anyone, but it is designed to provide effective and efficient heating and cooling in five areas of your home.
Included with the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 48k BTU 20.5 SEER 5 Zone Ductless Mini Split are a powerful 48k BTU heat pump condenser along with four 9k BTU wall mounted air handlers and one 12k BTU wall mounted air handler. The variable speed DC inverter aids in the system's efficiency of 20.5 SEER. Rely on each of the 9k BTU air handlers to effectively heat or cool up to 375 square feet, while the 12k BTU air handler can accommodate up to 500 square feet.
There's no need for professional HVAC assistance, special tools, or specific training to install the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Multi-Zone 48k BTU 20.5 SEER 5 Zone Ductless Mini Split. One feature of its easy installation is the included Quick Connect line set and comes precharged with the eco-friendly refrigerant R-410A. Also included is the DIYPRO cable that provides superior mechanical protection against damage caused by animals, weather, or yard tools without electrical conduit.
Not only is the installation easy, but so is controlling the system. It can be controlled with the included remote, the SmartHVAC app on your Android or Apple device, or completely hands free with your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
There are a variety of operational modes and features with the 4th Generation MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split. The easy to use Auto mode lets you set your preferred temperature and let the system maintain it until you adjust it again. The Sleep mode and Timer function allows you to save on utility costs by not utilizing excess energy when not necessary. If there is a power outage, the system will automatically restart once power is restored. This is just a small sample of the convenient features and modes available.
Maintenance is easy as well. Simply wipe down both the indoor and outdoor units with a damp or dry cloth, and rinse the filters in the air handlers with water and allow to dry before replacing them in the unit. The LED display will show any troubleshooting codes to address so you can likely solve the issue without calling for professional assistance.
