Sometimes your weakness can lead you to greatness. W.C. Coleman had very poor eyesight, and the flickering, inconstant kerosene lamps of his day did not help matters. The first time he saw a strong, steady burning gasoline light, he also saw potential. Soon after, Coleman founded a company to manufacture gasoline lamps, a company that would bear his name, and one that would endure. Today, of course, Coleman makes a lot more than just lamps.
