Are all unit heat pumps. I prefer a/c only
The DIY and the Universal are both heat pumps.
I was impressed with your video on YouTube. I have viewed other videos as well. As a retired elevator person, and accomplishments at home, I’m not intimidated, by the installation job. I speak of a split unit package, with probably 2 wall ductless units with a single compressor package, and what is included.

Are the precharged 25ft line sets having problems with the connections to the exterior unit? Mine does not connect by hand. The female side will not allow the threads to engage to complete the connection. The plunger in the line will not retract enough to start threading.
I'm not aware with any widespread problem. This is the first time I've heard of someone having problems connecting the precharged line in the way you describe. Give us a call at 270-575-9595 and use x300 to speak with tech.
