"Hey Dan. R410A gas is being phased out. Does your system run on R42? My condo, 1500 sq ft, has two floors. Do I need two units and an air handler? Thanks."
To answer the first question, Yes R410A is being phased out, but it should still be in prominent usage until 2030.
For the second question, you probably just need a condenser and 2 air handlers, like a multi-zone mini-split unit.
