A dual fuel mini split air conditioner and gas furnace would be a great idea, right? Does a dual fuel mini split even exist though? "Does anyone make a dual fuel mini split air conditioner and gas furnace unit?" As far as I'm aware, no one makes anything like this. We don't have anything like that. All the mini splits we have are totally electric. Even the Hyper Heat Olympus and Mitsubishi units don't use any fossil fuel, natural gas, or propane. I don't know of any that do. There might be some out there. They probably wouldn't be a mini split though because furnace stuff is pretty big. I've never heard of a mini split furnace. It would be pretty neat if there was one!
