Most mini splits are not great heaters. Most of them can be like the Mitsubishi and MrCool Hyper Heat. Those are solid good heaters. All of them are really good air conditioners. They are really good at that. In Northwest Indiana, you're going to have some problems with heating. Anywhere north of Kentucky, you're going to want a furnace or a boiler.
