Today's question is from Rick. "Hey Dan. Heat pump condenser 2.5 ton Goodman. Can I install it to a 3 ton Carrier air handler regular A coil evap? I don't need the heat exchanger to work. But my inside unit has a TXV. I think regular heat pump systems use fixed orifice? Thanks for your help, you are very knowledgable." If they are both using R410A, and the TXV is intended for R410A, then yes, it should work. You might want to check on the warranties though.
