Today's question comes from Alex. "Hey Dan, what is the EER for the MrCool DIY 12k mini split? Does the MrCool DIY 12K have 12.5 EER?" So, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First of all the efficiency on a condenser has a lot to do with the air handler that's paired with it. To get the real efficiency rating, you have to know the air handler it goes with because that is going to affect performance. We don't list an EER rating just for the condenser, but if you look at the listing of the MrCool DIY 12K condenser with the MrCool DIY 12K air handler, we do have one listed, which is 12.7 EER.
