This question about installing a mini split condenser is from Nitza.
"This Mitsubishi M Series Ductless Mini Split will go on the second floor. How can I mount the outside unit?"
This is a good question because normally you would put the outside condenser on the ground. You could still do that and just run a line all the way up, but your line set would be longer than normal probably, but you could still do it. Most condensers can run pretty far.
You could also get a wall mount and mount the condenser on the outer wall high up off the ground. This way you could get it closer to the air handler like 10 feet off the ground. A lot of condominiums on the beach, that's how they have them if they have mini splits. That's a little more complicated because you have to get a ladder and condensers are heavy, but either way, you will be fine.
