MacGyver's GeoCool Geothermal HVAC Installation - Part 1

This is part 1 of our purchase and ultimate install of a "GEOCool" 3 ton Geothermal Heat pump system for our new house that we are building. In this video we pick up the first bits which include the lines, valves, pumps etc. and I unbox them for your viewing pleasure!

These are great videos. Thanks for sharing your experience! More people should get involved with geothermal and Ingram's makes it easy to tackle the project. It's great technology that we've been using for almost 4 years now. We love that the system is quiet and there is considerable cost savings over the oil fired boiler that we used previously. We live on Long Island in New York and have limited land (only half and acre). We had to pay to get vertical wells installed ($$$). We're working on getting a 3rd heat pump up and running in the coming month. It's a water to water geothermal heat pump that will provide warm water to a buffer tank for radiant floor heating. Looking forward to warm floors this winter.

Great video. Some great information for people entering the HVAC industry and dealing with questions about a geosystem and their parts. Great video for assistance of parts and beginning installation. Thank you!
