do you need an a/c tech to bleed the lines or need to add Freon with a mr cool unit .how does a diy person bleed lines

I have a 2400 btu DIY MrCool. If I run the unit on full auto the coils on the inside unit freeze up. If I place the unit on low medium or high fan it works like a charm. Any ideas on what’s causing it to freeze up on auto.
