How to Set Up Your MrCool Universal Wifi Thermostat

The MrCool Universal WiFi Thermostat is a three-heat, two-cool programmable WIFI thermostat with humidity control. It is compatible with most major central heating and air conditioning products. After the thermostat is wired to your unit, you will need to program it to your needs. Press and release the system key, and the System mode will blink. Then, hold the system key for about five seconds until the screen changes. You will see menu numbers at the bottom right corner of the screen. Press the up or down button to cycle through the menus. Be sure to look at the manual to know what each menu is for and select your options custom to your unit and your home. Hit “done” to confirm your choice or cancel to back out of the menu. On the main menu, use the up and down arrows to set the unit to the desired temperature. Hitting the system button will allow you to change the unit setting from off, to Heating Mode or air conditioning mode. Hit done to confirm your choice. The “Fan” button allows you to set the fan to “on” or “auto”. When you first start the thermostat, you will see that it says Wifi failure at the top until you connect the thermostat to the local wifi network.
