With 36,000 BTU capacity and heating between 1,500-1,800 square feet, this is one of the strongest systems in the MrCool DIY series. You'll be able to easily install the 2-part unit with an air handler inside your space and a compact heat pump condenser outside your home. You will need no special training, tools, or equipment to complete the install–the process is totally user friendly!
One of the ways this can be accomplished is thanks to the DIY Quick Connect line set that comes standard with the unit. These line sets are pre-charged with R-454B refrigerant so there's no vacuum required. The eco-friendly R-454B refrigerant replaces older types that were damaging to the environment. In addition to the DIY Quick Connect line set, the 5th Generation MrCool DIY Mini Split 36k BTU 18 SEER2 Ductless Heat Pump & AC System now includes the DIYPRO Cable. This unique piece of equipment has easy crimp connectors, protects against yard tools, animals, and weather, and eliminates the need for electrical conduit while giving the unit protection and durability.
With the 5th Generation MrCool DIY Mini Split 36k BTU 18 SEER2 Ductless Heat Pump & AC System, you have complete control. Utilize the included remote, the SmartHVAC app, or the Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The many different usage modes allow you to customize the use of the MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split. Auto mode regulates the heating or cooling to adjust based on a set temperature. The unit will utilize heat, air, or the fan to maintain the room at the comfort level you desire.
If the power goes out, no worries! As soon as the power returns, the MrCool DIY Ductless Mini Split will automatically turn back on and begin immediately working to adjust the temperature back to your setting before the power loss. The convenient anti-mildew function ensures the handler doesn't accumulate mold and mildew due to excess condensation.

Shipping Damage & Missing Items
Unpack and inspect ALL packages for damaged or missing items before accepting your shipment. If any damage is found, note this on the delivery receipt.
