Solar Power Saving Can Work For You

solar
The Sun is always up there. Watching us. Judging. And there's nothing you can do to stop it. But what if you could make the Sun work for you? With solar-powered technology, you can. You can trap the Sun's precious radiation and force it to power your machinery. It's sort of like kidnapping, only not at all.

Solar-Powered Water Heaters

Does the sun shine on your home? Yes, probably, so why are you still relying 100% on a traditional water heater? A tank water heater constantly sucks electricity to keep water hot. That's nice, but it's also expensive. Add a solar water heater to your home right now! A solar water heater will use UV radiation to heat water for free. When the sun's not out, go back to your old fashioned water heater.

Photovoltaic Panels

Once upon a time photovoltaic panels were really only useful in high sun areas like the desert or along the Equator. Thanks to a variety of utility company incentives, this is no longer the case. What do we mean by that? Okay, so the primary restriction on solar panel usage is getting household electricity at night or in bad weather. You can't, so you have to buy it from your utility company defeating the whole purpose of solar panels in the first place. On the other hands, when the sun is out it's very easy to absorb more energy than you can actually use. The solution to this problem is that many utility companies will now buy your excess energy and distribute it through their grid. What you don't use, they pay you for. This offsets your consumption costs when you have to get electricity the old fashioned way and makes solar panel installation a more viable option for people who don't live in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico or one of those other scorching states.

Ok I and my cronies are the biggest abusers and overused of electricity. Oh yeah the hot tub. I also want to sell some to the Achilles that I've been buying it from for my last 55 years. How many amp hours of batteries am I going to need this how manyb100 amp panels. I'm even interested in wind running my alert high and low houses clay Bird throwers and all of the lighting I need for sleet at night and the baseball diamond.

Tim, with all those energy needs, have you considered a portable nuclear reactor?
