The 9000 BTU air handler is great for smaller space between 350 to 400 square feet, the 12,000 BTU air handler is ideal for spaces 450 to 550 square feet and the 24,000 BTU unit can be used for spaces up to 1500 square feet. If you want to combine all 3 to cover an open space, the system is best suited for a space between 1750 and 2100 square feet with the condenser capacity.
