3 Ton 35.7 EER 2 Stage GeoCool Geothermal Heat Pump Vertical Package Unit

Item: HA18833
Model: GCHPV036TGTANXX
Condition: New
A top of the line product like the GeoCool GCHPV036 Geothermal Heat Pump Vertical Package Unit is an excellent example of the performance ground-source technology can routinely deliver. This unit is rated for up to 28.7 EER, an efficiency standard virtually no central air conditioner or heat pump can hope to match. To put geothermal performance in perspective, 28.7 EER is roughly equivalent to 33.0 SEER. The current government minimum is 14 SEER. Which means this GeoCool ground-source heat pump is approximately 2.3 times more efficient than a standard air conditioner.

Overview

You can buy an air conditioner to stay cool in summer. You can get a furnace to keep your home warm in winter. Or you could invest in a geothermal heat pump to get both heating and cooling that saves you money month after month. Because while a geothermal heat pump can do it all, it will also deliver better energy efficiency than any other technology on the market.

A top of the line product like the GeoCool GCHPV036 Geothermal Heat Pump Vertical Package Unit is an excellent example of the performance ground-source technology can routinely deliver. Which means this GeoCool ground-source heat pump is approximately 2.3 times more efficient than a standard air conditioner.

Of course, the GeoCool GCHPV036 geothermal heat pump doesn’t just come with over-achieving energy efficiency. It is loaded with durable components and quality parts to ensure long term operation. It comes standard with eco-safe R410A refrigerant, a variable-speed ECM DEC Star blower, Dallas Microprocessor, Flo-Link fittings, and a Copeland 2-Speed UltraTech Scroll Compressor. It also features freeze protection, condensate overflow switch, LED indicators, high and low pressure switches, easy access panels, and a sturdy cabinet.

So, instead of relying on an inefficient air conditioner and a costly furnace, get everything you need in a single system with a GeoCool geothermal heat pump.

What is the COP of this unit ? Thanks
Hello, i am strongly considering purchasing one of your 3 ton units, the the question is about the ground loops. i need 100 ft in order to get to where my loops begin. i would like to make my loops 800 ft long instead of 600 ft long, as i am not figuring the "header, 100ft" as part of my heat exchanger. Does the flow center come equipped with a pump that will support the extra 200 ft of head pressure. I ask this because i do not want fused joints buried but rather have the manifold inside. Thank you in advance, Brian.
Do you normally install an electrical heating backup unit with this geothermal unit?
Is the refrigerate system already charged when the unit is delivered or does the stem have to be charged on site?
Is there a copper heat exchanger material that is going to be available soon? I do not need the cupro-nickel because I will be using a closed loop setup.
What kind of warranty do you have on your geocool geothermal heat pumps? I am a an hvac contractor in Denton, MD and it is getting near impossible to find one over here. Thank you!
As of 3/15/23, what's the current lead time on this Geocool 3 ton unit. Thanks.
How does the GeoCool Compare with the Climate Master for a 2 or 3 ton geothermal heat pump?
Does this unit come with the ground loop system and all other materials required with the exception of duct work?

For a 3 ton Geocool unit GCHPV036TGTANXX do you carry an optional emergency heat stri? I would think 10kw would be sufficient for a 1,500 sq ft home.

Do you have a downflow furnace in a 4 or 5 ton
Can this unit be used in an "open loop" system?
I would like to pair a gshp with a gas furnace. Currently have a 3 ton a/c with a 100k btu furnace. These are sized appropriately. I live in northern Indiana. It will be a open loop system. Would like to use the furnace in tandam with the gshp when ever heat is called for. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank You
For the 3-ton GeoCool GCHPV036TGTANDR heat pump which 10kw backup heat strip do you carry?
1. I am considering a 3 ton unit for my house, but the loops would have to be installed in my downward sloping front yard. The end of the slinky loop would be approximately 20-30ft below the elevation of the pump in a 100ft trench. Would this be an excessive slope or no problem?
2. Is there a way to test soil suitability for the geothermal loop thermal conductivity to make sure I have enough loop for my system? I am in Central Pennsylvania and plan to install at 6ft due to a 4ft frost line.
1. If I use a desuperheater on the 3 ton Geothermal vertical unit how far can the water heater be? Currently my water heater is 34 feet and downstairs from where the ac unit will be located.
2. The 3 ton Geothermal vertical unit will be placed upstairs with a closed loop vertical system, will this work?
3. Where I am placing my vertical loops outside there is a slight increase in grade. I will trench 8 feet to lay the pipe but the pipe will still move up hill slightly as it leaves the unit and have a slight down hill as it returns to the house, but the ac unit will be upstairs. Is this an issue?
4. Are there any deals, money saving deals? I am buying the 3 Ton 28.7 EER 2 Stage GeoCool Geothermal Heat Pump Vertical Package Unit and 2.5 to 3 Ton Horizontal Ground Loop Geothermal Installation Kit as soon as you reply to these questions.
I'm considering a closed loop glycol system that uses ground water accessible by a pre-existing 50 foot steel pipe. The theory is that I could drop the hose in to a depth that I determine when I pull the well pump and piping. The closed loop system would have a preset mark on one side to determine that that side of the piping has reached the water table. Approximately 50 feet of looped hose would be dropped into the water table resulting in 50 feet of heat exchange unit that is immersed in approximately 50 degree water. The returning heated or cooled glycol would quickly surrender or absorb heat from a water source that maintains constant temperature because of the depth and because it constantly being refreshed. This water source is in the aquifer that runs about 130 feet away. This system is very similar to a pond system that uses a closed loop to pump glycol through a water basin.
