Overview
The lifespan of a typical air conditioner is 15 to 20 years. Which is not bad. But wouldn't it be better to get a cooling unit with a typical lifespan of 25 years or more? What if that long-lived cooling unit could heat too? And what if it provided better energy efficiency than just about any air conditioner, furnace, boiler or other HVAC unit available on the market today? Wouldn't you want that kind of unit to be what you depend on for home air comfort?
Fortunately for all of us, the GeoCool GCHPV060 Geothermal Heat Pump Vertical Package Unit is just that kind of home air comfort product. It can heat, cool, and dehumidify. It can deliver energy efficiencies of up to 25.8 EER in virtually any weather conditions. It is built to last with quality parts and components. Best of all, this GeoCool unit is manufactured and assembled right here in the United States.
You might wonder how this kind of performance is possible. Geothermal heat pumps like the GCHPV060 can produce such high energy efficiencies thanks to the fundamental strength of their operating cycle. Unlike a typical air-source heat pump, a geothermal unit uses the crust of the Earth itself as both a heat sink and a heat source. This eliminates the variable temperature problems that typically plague conventional heat pumps. It is this stability that allow ground-source units to achieve such stupendous results.
Plus, the GCHPV060 comes with superior components like a Copeland scroll compressor and a DEC Star blower. It also features Flo-Link fittings, a Dallas microprocessor, numerous safety features, easy-to-read LED display, eco-safe R410A, and more.

Q & A
Model: GCHPV060TGTANXX w/ Desupper and LH
What are the additional expenses to have shipped to Canada. Toronto, Ontario area. (Duty etc)
What is the wait time for delivery to Canada from time of purchase?
Copeland scroll?
Is there a performance warranty?
Please send me a copy of the limited equipment warranty.
Can I have a order shipped in stages when I am ready for each shipment or is it cheaper to have all shipped at once?
1) Can I drill a series of 20 foot deep holes into the ground under the garage and living room for the heat transfer lines? The soil is sandy.
2) How many amps will the system require? Is three phase required?
3) Do I need an aux heat strip?
Thank you very much. I may have additional questions going forward.
Dan Mohr
1) Does this Unit come already charged with R410?
2) Since this is a 2 stage unit, does that mean that the ground loop pump in a closed system must have two speeds?
3) How does the heat pump interface with or control the duct-mounted strip heaters?
